What Defines a Dream Horse?

Well, I think this can be different for every horse owner.

But there are a few universal Dream Horse qualities:

  • The horse is well educated and easy to handle

  • The horse is a pleasure to ride

  • The horse enjoys spending time with you no matter if you just hang out or do stuff together

Every Youngster Has

Dream Horse Potential

Raising a young horse from scratch is a wonderful journey.

Now you have the chance to create a special bond, have a well educated horse that’s a pleasure to ride - aka, your own dreamhorse.

Something many horse owners dream about.

And I am convinced that every horse is born to be somebody's dream horse.

The responsibility is high and can weigh heavy on our shoulders.

We don’t want to make mistakes.

We don't want to mess up the horse.

And I am convinced that any horse is born to be somebody's dream horse.

The responsibility is high and can weigh heavy on our shoulders.

We don’t want to make mistakes.

We don't want to mess up the horse.

So many things can go wrong along the way …

There are many horses out there that only look like dream horses, but they don't act like that.

Horses that are unreliable, unpredictable, defensive and have developed bad habits.

Maybe you even got a young horse because you had such a horse with baggage before.

Now you want to teach things the right way from the beginning to your youngster.

You are right, it is always easier to teach things right from the beginning than to try to fix problems later.

Over the years of taking horses in for training and starting horses for others, I found out the biggest reason why horses start to make problems:

Holes in the Education

Having holes in the education is reason number one why horses don't exactly behave like dream horses.

If important building blocks are skipped in a horse’s education.

or the horse is rushed through the process,

or steps aren’t taken in the right order …

The puzzle pieces won’t fit and the picture will look messy.

The horse will be confused.

A confused horse will start to show behaviours we don’t like.

- or steps aren’t taken in the right order

The puzzle pieces won’t fit and the picture will look messy.

The horse will be confused.

A confused horse will start to show behaviours we don’t like.

The Big Question is...

What to teach and when a young horse while making sure:

  • not to forget an important detail
  • neither do too much or too little
  • not teach things in the wrong order
  • not teach bad habits by accident

How to make sure he will turn into the horse you always dreamt of having?

I'm sure that every horse can be motivated, happy, relaxed and willing.

Every horse can learn to enjoy doing stuff together with its owner.

It is up to us to polish our “diamond in the rough” and make him shine.

Having the Complete Picture

Over the years training horses and their owners, I realized this:

When things go wrong between horse and owner, the main reason is not lack of dedication, or time, or money, or passion.

I never met a horse owner yet who wasn’t full of passion and dedication for their youngster.

(We can argue about time and money)

The real reason for trouble is that owners don't have the complete picture or information.

It is easy to find information on the internet nowadays.

But this can get very confusing very quickly as we find so many different methods and ways of doing.

We end up with thousands of puzzle pieces that won’t fit together.

Discover the Roadmap

To fix this problem, I developed a clear system of educating the youngsters in my care into happy partners for life.

I fine tuned it with every horse I got in training over the last 15 years working as a full time horse professional.

This system helps me to keep track of every horse’s education and makes sure I don’t miss an important detail.

I call it "The Roadmap from Foal to Dream Horse"

No more guess-work about what to teach when!

No more worry about maybe having forgotten an important detail.

This leads to solid results, happy horses and content owners.

Educating Young Horses Just Became a Lot More Clear

Now anyone can follow this roadmap.

You will always know what to teach when.

No more worry about maybe having forgotten an important detail that will backfire later.

This leads to solid results, happy horses and content owners.

My dream is to have the perfect trail ride horse so that I can safely trail ride on my own and in company of other horses.

I have been following Gabi’s programmes since my foal was born. I started with the Roadmap from Foal to Dream Horse, which helped me to have better plans and not leave any holes in my yearling’s education.

The different Colt Start Documentaries give me guidance, motivation and problem-solving tips. I regularly use them for my other horses too, according to each horse’s personality.

I had experience in horsemanship before, but with Gabi’s programmes I have discovered a whole new level of communication with my youngster.

Nathalie and Jafhar

Bretagne, France

I have always had the dream to form a lifelong partnership with a young horse but never thought I would be able to do it.  Gabi’s courses for young horses have helped make my dream come true!

My partner is Wilson, a 2 year old Appendix Quarter Horse gelding that I adopted from a horse rescue when he was 10 months old.

Having always had “trained” horses, I have taken for granted all the basic skills that a young horse needs to learn including learning to lead, stand for farrier, wearing tack and blanket, getting used to baths, trailer loading, and more.

Gabi’s videos have helped me get all these basic skills accomplished.  Her charts with guidelines for each year help to make my training plans.

Wilson and I have worked our way up to ponying with my older horse Dink at this point. Our goal for this year is to have fun ponying thru the forest preserve trails by this fall.

As we go into winter and Wilson’s 3rd birthday, I hope to have him accept the saddle.

I’m not sure where we will end up, trail riding, showing, chasing cows, but I know these courses will provide a great foundation for whatever we do!

Blues came into my life in April, 2022. He was just about to celebrate his 3rd Birthday. Looking back over the past 10 months, I couldn't imagine not having Gabi's training to learn from.

I resonated with her methods from the first video I watched, and knew she was a person I could put my trust in. Blues isn't my first horse, but he is my first baby that I wished to mostly train myself.

I didn't realize I was in a little over my head until he first came home to me, but at each step, I followed Gabi's trainings.

Building a strong relationship with my horse has always been a primary goal, and Gabi shows you how to consistently and confidently attain that, with love and boundaries.

I love that he always greets me when I go to get him from the pasture.

I was able to teach him to not run into me when he spooks, ground tying while being groomed, handling hooves like a gentleman.

Gabi taught us how to circle, how to get past washstall scaries, what to do / not to do when things get stressful during groundwork.

And the best is that he is communicating with me and is a part of the process.

One of the wonderful things about Gabi's teaching methods are that she shows you how to do things on different horses, and ones that aren't always behaving perfectly. It teaches you ways to deal with situations that arise.

I'm just so very grateful for Gabi's guidance and for helping me lay this foundation. I'm so excited and looking forward to continue learning from Gabi as we progress this year under-saddle, and fine tune the direction we are working towards.

Ashley Gamarello

New Jersey, United States

I was looking for new ways to train and educate my horses, as I am no longer able to ride broncos.

I have had horses my whole 43 years of life. We now have 10 horses with varying ages from 34- 6.  Two years ago I bought a 9 yr old, that only some halter training for a replacement for my old guy.

I came across Gabi's book and became inspired by her story. I then sought out more educational videos she had available.  The more I saw, the more intrigued I became. I now have all her videos, and can't wait for the next series she creates.

Her ideas on emotional fitness of the horse, to her methods on being able to communicate with our horses and read their behavior is amazing to say the least.

We should all want this type of dream relationship with our horses.

She has inspired me to become a better horsewoman, seeking all the information I can to give my horses a happier,  healthier life. I now have a goal and training program set in place for spring.

I will be re-educating quite a few of my horses and continuing foundation training for the others in our herd. With aspiring goals to provide others foundational training and help them create relationships with their horses.

I believe in Gabi and her methods!

Here Is What You Will Get as Part of

Operation Dream Horse

You will get access to my complete young horse education program as outlined in the roadmap.

Roadmap From Foal to Dream Horse

This Roadmap is the heart of Operation Dream Horse.

You will have 10 printable checklists, sorted by age group or stage of education. This allows you to pinpoint your exact starting point but also find eventual holes in your horse’s education. This will make your next steps crystal clear.

Once you know where you are at and what your next step should be, you can dive into the courses.

Yearling Training, Age 1-2 Years:

You will get access to two Yearling training documentaries so that you can choose what fits best to your horse. Extroverted Arabian filly Haylee, or introverted half draft boy Jedi.

Learn how to teach your youngster the basics of everyday life. Create a happy learner that looks forward to the next session and is easy to handle for the farrier, grooming, leading, the shower, spray, loads into the trailer, is happy to go on walks and enjoys simple groundwork.

Pre-Start, Age 2-3 years:

Once your horse masters the basics, it’s time to give him a solid pre-start. You will develop communication, connection and confidence through solid ground skills so that he is well prepared for an easy and stress free start a year later.

This includes introducing cinch and saddle without stress, plenty of fun games for groundwork, physical development for young horses, coming to the mounting block, preps to accept the rider, lunging and voice cues, teaching rein and leg aids on the ground

Three Colt Starting Documentaries

Three different horses to show you how to adapt to different horse personalities and to show different methods you can use to start your horse.

If you intend to start your horse yourself, these documentaries will give you clear steps and guidance how to start your horse in a safe and respectful way.

If you are planning to bring your horse to a professional for starting, the documentaries will give you a great overview about how the process should look like. You will gain important knowledge about specifics of riding young horses and how you can prepare your horse on the ground before sending him off to the professional of your choice.

Tara, unconfident extroverted Shagya Arabian mare

Follow Tara on her way to become a riding horse. Learn how to start horses BITLESS in a safe way. She is an unconfident extroverted mare, herd bound and very easily distracted and spooked. I started Tara mainly on my own and only had assistance during the initial first rides.

This documentary is great for you if you have someone to help you during the initial first rides and your confidence and skill level is good enough to continue riding your youngster on your own after introducing the first trot.

Haylee, unconfident/confident extroverted Arabian mare

Follow Arabian filly Haylee on her journey to be started under saddle. Includes introducing the Bridle and BIT! Haylee is sensitive and can be reactive/spooky but is much more self-confident than Tara. I coached a student of mine through the first rides and we worked as a team.

This documentary is great for you if you are looking for the safest way possible to start a horse. This is your go-to resource if you have someone to assist you all the way through.

Hakan, confident extroverted, sometimes unpredictable

Follow 4 year old Quarter Horse Hakan on his remarkable journey to become a riding horse. I started him WITHOUT assistance and BITLESS.

He could be super playful and the next moment turn completely introverted when he felt insecure.

This documentary is great for you if you are a confident and skilled rider, have nobody to help you and you have good facilities.

Foundation Training (coming soon) Age 4-5

Follow Quarter Horse Chic Smart Olena from just started all the way to riding with just a neck rope!

This documentary will show you patterns and sequences to build a solid foundation after the initial start under saddle.

You will learn how to develop good impulsion, straightness, precise direction, canter work, good responses to leg aids, trail obstacles and how to introduce riding with just a neck rope!

Monthly New Lessons

New videos will be added every month. These can be problem solving videos, inspirational videos, creative groundwork or riding ideas or videos showing the progression of my own horses.

These videos will keep you inspired month by month.

Monthly Live Q&A

Got stuck, need help? Every month we will meet for a Q&A call. This is where you can ask me and my team any question you have.

What Other Students Say

Emily Ryba

Minessota, USA

"My biggest takeaway is breaking up the training into very small interactions. It’s easy to be a little overwhelmed with “the plan” but this gives me confidence by how simple each step really is."

Steph Lingen

Iowa, USA

"I have learned that anything is possible with the proper foundation and assessing where the horse is at the day you are working. Have a goal in mind for the session and making adjustments as you go. Having the horse be an active participant in each part too with kindness and compassion. "

Mary Karom

Georgia, USA

“Your training with different horses are giving me the tools and motivation to successfully communicate with confidence. I am thrilled to have found your site and very appreciative that you offer it at such a reasonable price.”

Paula Zima

New Mexico, USA

I LOVE your happy calm way of working, but still firm on the non-negotiables; how you invited, understood; recognized and encouraged the horse’s need  to investigate and play.

Penny Oberneyer

Ohio, USA

"It is amazing to see how you break everything down into little steps, how very thoroughly you explain what you're seeing, thinking, and doing . . . "

Andrea Kraus

Sardegna, Italy

I feel “safe” as I can always go to any of your sessions and courses and get the explanations and instructions/tasks I need. Plus, I have also clear step-by-step plans at hand, which are extremely helpful e.g. when thinking about starting to ride my youngster Hashtag soon.

This is a Steal of a Deal

To sum it up, the three Colt Start Documentaries, the Roadmap from Foal to Dream Horse and the two Yearling Trainings alone have a total retail price of $1558.

I am giving you access to ALL of this for just 19.99$ a month!

Just think about it - you would need to be a member 6.5 years before you would have paid an equivalent amount of money!

Plus more documentaries, workshops and courses are coming this year.

On top, you will also have the monthly Q&A, monthly new inspirational videos and the monthly challenges to keep you progressive and motivated.

I think this is a steal of a deal.

You Still Have Questions? Here Are the Answers.

Please click the arrow to expand the answer.

Q: Is there a minimum time to stay a member?

No, there is no minimum time to stay a member inside Operation Dreamhorse. You can cancel anytime.

          Q: Can I cancel anytime?

Yes, you can cancel anytime yourself inside your account. I even made a video to show how you can do this.

Q: How is the billing cycle? Is it automatic?

Your card or your PayPal will be charged every month on the same day. For example, if you join on the 7th, your card or PayPal will be billed again on the 7th the next month. It happens automatically.

Q: What’s the difference to your lifetime access courses?

The main difference is that there will be new monthly videos, a monthly challenge, a community and monthly Q&A sessions.

Another difference is that you don’t have lifetime access to the courses included by joining Operation Dreamhorse.

My aim is to make my courses more accessible to more people around the world. You will have access as long as you are a member.

Q: Will I keep access if I cancel after a few months?

No, once you cancel, you won’t have access to any of the courses anymore.

Except the courses you bought for lifetime access prior to joining Operation Dream Horse.

Q: When will the Q&A sessions be?

The Q&A sessions will be on every last Tuesday of the month. You don’t have to be there live. You can pre-submit your question via a form.

My team and I will answer every question submitted. The replays will be uploaded to the platform so that you can watch later and get the answer to your question.

Q: Can I have feedback on videos?

Video coaching takes a huge amount of time. I have to be careful with my time because we have no team to support us for now.

This is why there is no video coaching option inside Operation Dreamhorse.

I do have a private coaching group, kind of the big sister of Operation Dreamhorse, where video coaching is included.

The number of members is limited to 35 in this group. You can ask to join if you need intense support when going through a major step of training with your horse.

The monthly membership fee is 100$. This included video coaching, unlimited questions inside the community group and bi-weekly coaching calls.

Q: Can anyone start her own youngster using Gabi’s methods?

My method of starting and educating young horses is not a magic bullet either that will allow anyone to start her own horse. Starting horses takes a certain level of skill, feel and confidence.

Even though my methods are simple with a strong focus on safety for horse and rider, starting a young horse yourself might not be the best idea for everybody.

Owners who lack facility, have confidence issues, don't have enough experience and skill as a rider, have no experience with groundwork, aren’t able to commit enough time, experience health issues and who are still learning themselves, are better advised to bring their youngster to a professional they trust for the initial start.

Nevertheless, this program will allow you to make lots of progress with your young horse so that you can build that partnership you always dreamt of having. Educating a youngster is about way more than just the start.

In-person help from a trusted instructor is part of this journey and a critical key to success with your young horse. So, get help if you need help!

Could This Be You in a few Years?

Imagine you call your horse and he answers with a soft nicker as he comes towards you.

He is obviously happy to see you and to come with you on another relaxing trail ride.

You are out there in the forest, enjoying nature.

It’s a beautiful spring morning and the birds are singing.

Your horse’s ears are pointing softly forward, sometimes flicking back, checking in with you.

He is blowing out softly and his stride is long and relaxed.

Even if your horse has a little spook from a little deer in the bushes, you feel confident.

Because you can rely on the strong connection you have and the rock solid education your horse has thanks to all the dedicated work over the last years.

Wow, what a journey it has been since you got him as a little weanling!

You feel so connected to your horse, your best friend. What a joy. A dream come true.

This all becomes possible when you join Operation Dreamhorse and follow my Roadmap step by step with your horse.

I have done it, my students have done it - YOU can do it too!
